On the 30th June 2026, the ReMED project was announced as one of 19 projects selected to transition from the Test Phase to the Transfer Phase under the Interreg Euro-MED Programme’s Fast Lane procedure.

This achievement reflects the success of the project over the past three years and recognises the transfer potential of the ReMED Tool, the ReMED Platform, and the methodologies developed by the project consortium to support climate resilience and sustainable urban development across Mediterranean cities.

Selection for the Transfer Phase was a two-stage process. Projects first had to meet predefined milestones to qualify for pre-selection, after which they were evaluated on the quality of their deliverables, the results achieved during the Test Phase, and their potential for transfer to other Mediterranean territories.

The Transfer Phase, which officially began on 1st July 2026, will run for 18 months. During this period, existing and new project partners will work together to transfer and replicate the project’s results across a wider range of Mediterranean territories.
